Piezoelectric sensors are widely used and far-reaching, bringing convenience to the task of the application process. In order to ensure the application of pressure sensors for a longer application process, attention must be paid to the routine maintenance methods of the sensors. In this regard, the following eight points need to be noted
1. Avoid the accumulation of waste in pipes and sensors in corrosive or overheated media.
2. When measuring air pressure, open the pressure tap at the top of the process line and install the sensor at the top of the process line so that any accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process line.
3. When measuring liquid pressure with a piezoelectric sensor, the pressure tap should be opened at the front of the process line to prevent slag build-up.
4. The pressure conductor should be installed in a temperature stable place.
5. When measuring liquid pressure, the installation position of the pressure sensor should be protected from liquid strikes (water hammer scenes), lest the sensor be damaged by overpressure.
6. When the summer freezes, the sensor installed outdoors must use anti-freezing methods to prevent the liquid in the pressure inlet from shrinking and causing sensor loss due to freezing.
7. When carrying out wiring, pass the cable through a waterproof or flexible tube and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rainwater from leaking through the cable into the transmitter housing.
8. When measuring steam or other low temperature media, the piezoelectric sensor should be connected to a condenser, e.g. a buffer tube (coil), and the operating temperature of the sensor must not exceed the limit.
When servicing the pressure sensor: compare the pressure value measured by the piezoelectric sensor with the value measured by the pressure gauge. If this does not match, the sensor or electronic control is abnormal. Measure the VDD and GND terminals of the electronic control pressure sensor to see if the electronic control has a 5V voltage output. If so, the electronic control is normal and the sensor can be tested.
Test the sensor: whether the device's connecting wires are secure and whether there is a break in between. After the sensor link is normal, if there is still an abnormality, the sensor body must be replaced.
