Sextant force sensors have important applications in aerospace, marine, automotive, mechanical and other fields, such as sextant force measurements of launchers during rocket and missile launches, and experimental studies of various hydrodynamic problems in aircraft and ships in wind tunnels and water tanks.
Sextant force transducers are the primary test equipment, and robots require various forms of multicomponent force transducers. Vehicle tire dynamics require the measurement of six fractional forces, the measurement of various cutting forces in machine tools, the measurement of agricultural machinery such as plowshare forces, and the measurement of many measurement problems in sports such as jumping fractional forces for high jumpers and the measurement of various water sports for sailors and windsurfers.
In fact, transducers can be divided into single and multi-fraction force transducers. Single-fraction force transducers include load cells and tension pressure transducers, which are widely used in force transducers today.
In fact, multisectional force transducers are force transducers that measure more than two components at the same time. A multicomponent force is 6. A six-component sensor consists of three components and three moments, namely the forces Fx, Fy and Fz along three coordinate directions and the moments Mx, My and Mz around three coordinates. after calculation, the measured six-component force can fully represent the magnitude, direction and point of action of a force.
The main difference between multisectional and unisectional force transducers is that unisectional force transducers usually have measures to ensure that the force acts in a "single" direction, e.g. load cells have mechanisms to ensure that the point of action is centered, tension and pressure transducers have hinges to ensure that the moment is not transmitted, etc. As a result, single-point force transducers usually do not have other force interference indicators.
However, shielding other forces cannot be used with sextant force transducers because all forces need to be measured and cannot be shielded. The connection between the sextant force transducer and the model is a surface rather than a point. The stiffness and intrinsic frequency of the sextant force transducer are also important, but this is not required for a single-fraction force transducer.
