What do I need to be aware of during the processing of a six-dimensional force transducer?

(Summary description)A six-dimensional force sensor is a force sensor that can measure force and torque components in more than two directions simultaneously. In the Cartesian coordinate system, force and torque can be decomposed into three separate components, so that a transducer can measure three force components and have three torque components at the same time. However, the important issue with the installation of a six-dimensional force transducer is that it should be reasonable so that it can be used properly in the future. Therefore, a reasonable installation is very important, so what issues need to be noted in the processing of six-dimensional force sensors?

A six-dimensional force sensor is a force sensor that can measure force and torque components in more than two directions simultaneously.
1, the elastomer of the six-dimensional force sensor is mainly made of alloy aluminium, so any slight vibration-induced shock or drop will cause a very large data output error. Therefore, the installation should be handled with care.
2, When designing or installing the loading device, ensure that the force applied to the loading force overlaps the force line of the load cell to ensure that the effects of inclination consistency and eccentricity consistency are at a low level.
3, If using a six dimensional force transducer, use a level to adjust the base when installing it to reach a level state before installing it. If multiple sensors are installed to measure together; then the base is kept as level as possible. This type of transfer ensures that the forces on any sensor are almost identical. Also, a bypass made of dummy copper braid is required on both sides of the loading device.
4. When installing, the surface needs to be coated with petroleum jelly to avoid chemical corrosion. Also, avoid prolonged direct sunlight, or large variations in ambient temperature.
The cable of the six dimensional force sensor cannot be lengthened by itself, if it needs to be lengthened, solder the joint and use moisture proof sealant. Widely used in robot finger and claw research; robotic surgical research; finger force research; dental research; force feedback; brake detection; precision assembly, cutting, etc.
