When the load cell is kept open for a long period of time, the explosion-proof load cell output varies with time. Creep is not an obvious problem over a 2 to 3 minute interval or fill cycle. However, if you are using them to monitor warehouse inventory, the effects of creep need to be considered.
Temperature variations can affect the output by changing the sensitivity of the explosion-proof load cell unless it is recalibrated for each major temperature change.
