Current types of pressure sensors are broadly classified as: resistance strain gauge pressure sensors, semiconductor strain gauge pressure sensors, piezoresistive pressure sensors, inductive pressure sensors, capacitive pressure sensors, resonant pressure sensors and capacitive acceleration sensors.
The main function of a pressure sensor is to transmit a pressure signal to an electronic device. The basic principle is that the mechanical signal of water pressure is converted into a current (4-20mA) so that the electronic signal has a linear relationship with the voltage or current, which is a proportional relationship. Therefore, the voltage or current output of the sensor increases with the pressure, obtaining a relationship between pressure and voltage or current.
The two pressures of the measured medium of the pressure sensor enter the high-pressure and low-pressure chambers. The pressure of the low-pressure chamber uses atmospheric pressure or vacuum, which acts on the isolation diaphragm on both sides of the triangular element (i.e. the sensitive element) and is transferred to both sides of the measuring diaphragm through the isolation diaphragm, which is filled with liquid in the element.
The pressure sensor consists of a measuring diaphragm and electrodes on either side of the isolation sheet to form a capacitor. When the pressure on both sides is not the same, the measuring diaphragm will shift and the displacement will be proportional to the pressure difference. As a result, the capacitance on both sides is not equal. This is converted into a signal proportional to the pressure by means of an oscillation and demodulation link. Main advantages of pressure sensors:
(1) Reliable operation and stable performance.
(2) Special V / I integrated circuits, few peripheral components, simple maintenance, small size, light weight, very easy to install and commission.
(3) Aluminium alloy die-casting shell, three-terminal isolation, electrostatic spraying protection layer, robust and durable.
(4) 4-20mA, DC two-wire signal transmission, strong anti-interference ability, long transmission distance.
(5) There are three indicator heads: LED, LCD and indicator, very easy to read on site. Can be used to measure viscous, crystalline and corrosive media.
(6) The pressure sensor has high accuracy and stability, in addition to the original imported sensor with laser calibration, it can also compensate well for temperature drift and non-linearity throughout the machine in the temperature range used.
