The following are some common sensor principles and applications. There is also a medical pressure sensor.
1. Application in weighing systems
Pressure sensing technology is increasingly used in commercial weighing systems for industrial control technology. In many pressure control processes, it is often necessary to collect pressure signals and convert them into electrical signals that can be automatically controlled. Pressure control devices consisting of pressure sensors, often referred to as electronic weighing systems, are becoming increasingly important as an in-line control tool for the flow of materials in various industrial processes.
2.Application in petrochemical industry
Pressure sensors are one of the most commonly used measuring devices in the automatic control of the petrochemical industry. In large chemical projects, pressure sensors are included in almost all applications: differential pressure, absolute pressure, gauge pressure, high pressure, micro differential pressure, high temperature, low temperature and specially processed remote flange pressure sensors made of various materials.
The requirements for pressure sensors in the almost petrochemical industry are mainly focused on reliability, stability and high accuracy. Among them, reliability has many additional requirements, such as range ratio, bus type, etc. Depends on the structural design of the transmitter, the level of processing technology and construction materials.
3 Application in water treatment
Pressure sensors convert pressure into an electrical signal which can be used to measure the level of a static fluid and can therefore be used to measure liquid levels.
The sensitive element of the pressure sensor is mainly composed of silicon cup sensitive element, silicon oil, isolation diaphragm and air duct. The measured medium pressure P is transferred to one side of the silicon cup element through the isolation diaphragm and the silicon oil, and the atmospheric reference pressure P0 acts on the other side of the silicon cup element through the air duct. The silicon cup element is a very thin cup-shaped monocrystalline silicon wafer at the bottom.
At pressures p and Po, the diaphragm at the bottom of the cup deforms elastically with minimal displacement. Monocrystalline silicon is an ideal elastomer whose deformation is strictly proportional to the pressure and whose recovery properties are excellent.
