Torque sensors are detections of torque sensing on various rotating or non-rotating mechanical parts. Torque sensors convert physical changes in torque into electrical signals. It can be used to manufacture viscometers and electric (pneumatic, hydraulic) torque wrenches. It has the advantages of high precision, fast frequency response, good reliability and long service life.

The torque sensor is equipped with two sets of gears with exactly the same number of teeth, shapes and installation angles at both ends of the elastic shaft, and a proximity sensor is installed outside the gears. When the elastic shaft rotates, these two sets of sensors can measure the two sets of pulse waves, compare the difference between the two sets of pulse waves before and after, and calculate the amount of torque received by the elastic bearing. The torque sensor keeps a sufficient distance between the power equipment and the load, and the power equipment and the load are all relatively independent rotating power systems. The combined machine is used to install the sensor between the power equipment and the load, with high speed accuracy, stable performance and long service life. Long, high signal-to-noise ratio, good anti-interference ability.

Two measuring principles of torque sensor:

1. Torque measurement principle: The dynamic torque sensor has an external power supply, and the energy is detected to the secondary pole through the inner ring transformer, and converted into a high-precision DC voltage through the rectifier filter, which is supplied to the bridge to work. When the torque changes, the strain bridge amplifies and converts the detected signal to the pressure frequency, and transmits it to the outside of the sensor through the transformer coupling.

2. Principle of rotational speed measurement: There are two rotational speed measurement methods for dynamic torque sensors. One is the speed measurement of the photoelectric encoder. II. Hall Effect Velocity Measurement. Both methods rotate the sensor 60 pulses per week, then convert the pulses to a frequency square wave output.

Torque sensors are mainly used for:

1. Output torque and power detection of rotating power equipment such as motors, engines, and internal combustion engines.

2. Torque and power detection of fans, pumps, gearboxes, and twist wrenches.

3. Torque and power inspection of railway locomotives, automobiles, tractors, aircraft, ships, and mining machinery.

4. Torque and power inspection of sewage treatment system.

5. Manufacture of viscometers.

6. In the process industry and the process industry.

7. Laboratory, testing department, production monitoring and quality management.

Notes on installation of torque sensor:

1. During installation, the torque sensor manufacturer cannot operate with electricity, and do not directly knock or collide with the torque sensor.

2. The fastening bolts on the coupling should be tightened, and a protective film and a Wuxi torsion sensor should be added to the outside of the coupling to avoid personal injury.

3. The output of the signal line cannot be output correctly, and the power supply is short-circuited. Is the output current below 10 mA? The shield of the shielded cable must be connected to the common connection of the 15V power supply.
